Brotherhood

Beta HouseBeing a part of an organization such as Beta Theta Pi means the development of close brotherhood. For this year’s annual ski trip, Schweitzer Mountain located in Northern Idaho hosted a fun-filled weekend of great riding, great people, and lots of fun. The massive amount of snow that we were blessed with made it one of the best weekends of the ski year. The weekend was not limited to just skiing and snowboarding. Some people went along just to hang out and spend time with great friends. Everyone enjoyed the endless amount of activities that Schweitzer Mountain offered and all had a great time. Whether you were hunting fresh powder or hanging out in the hotel, we all returned to Pullman with an even stronger sense of what it means to be a Beta only found through time spent with close friends. We are all looking forward to next year’s Ski Trip and another chance to develop our already strong brotherhood found only at Beta Theta Pi.

Brotherhood,

When you look up the word brotherhood in the dictionary, it reads “an association of men, such as a fraternity.” It’s not surprising to see such a correlation between brotherhood and fraternity. Brotherhood is a large and important aspect of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. When looking back at the time I spent as an active Beta, I remember most the lifelong bonds that I established.

Many times, the closest friends in one’s life are his Beta brothers. The brothers of Beta Theta Pi share a wide variety of experiences, including academic, social, and ritual.

Other than an immediate family member, one of strongest bonds made in life is calling a fellow member by the fraternal name of brother, and all that is associated with it. Beta Theta Pi is full of great experiences that all flow from a strong brotherhood.

Simply put, Betas are brothers for life.

Yours in _kai_,
